There is no need for gooey impressions traditionally used to obtain final impression for crowns, bridges or veneers. Not only can the traditional method be uncomfortable, but it can also take a couple of weeks for a dental lab to complete a crown once they’ve received the impression from the dentist. Dental impressions are the foundation for all restorative treatments. Digital impressions make it possible to create an impression and restore the dental area being treated in one appointment.
