Dr. Solomon grew up in Toronto and were classmates who graduated from the University of Toronto Dental school in 1990. After this, he associated in the Greater Toronto Area for three years before establishing Oakville Place Dental Office in 1993. He enjoyed practicing in the Oakville area for almost 25 years, and have had some patients for well over 20 years!

Interestingly enough, our very first hire was our office manager Rochelle Burnett! We have been lucky enough to have her running the office everyday, since day 1!

In terms of the other staff members, most have been with us for many years while some are more recent additions. We are lucky in that we have a diverse mix of ages and personalities in the office!

Yes, and it’s free! Being in Oakville Place Mall, parking is always free and always available. The mall has many other perks, including shopping and food services. Many of our patients will walk the mall and shop or enjoy a coffee while they wait for other family members who are being seen at our office.

Wherever possible, our office will bill directly to your insurance company for services rendered. You are only responsible for the part of the service or percentage that is not covered.

For patients who want to know specifically the fee before the service is provided, the office can send a predetermination (at no charge) to your insurance provider telling you exactly what is covered.
In terms of fees, it depends on the procedure. Our office follows the Ontario Dental Association fee guide for general practitioners.

We are available as best we can to treat our own patients as soon as possible. Should an emergency arise, please call us at (905) 842-6030 ASAP, and we will do our utmost to expediently see you.

Transfer of records is generally a good move. It allows us to see what has been done in the past and continue with the great care your previous dentist provided you. It also allows us to request previous X-rays (duplicates) which may save you money and, more importantly, minimize any X-rays or treatment we have to do for you. If you would like us to request previous X-Rays or records from your previous office, consider coming to our office and filling in an X-Ray/records release which we can send to your previous dental office. It can be at our office by the time of your appointment.

If you do not have time or forget to do this, we will do it at your first appointment for you!

Yes, and we have more than one dental bleaching option! From in-office same day bleach to take home trays,

different bleach systems offer different advantages and disadvantages. Our bleaching trays are custom fit for accuracy of delivery to your teeth – drug strore types are not. We also offer a higher concentration of bleach at our office. We suggest asking your dentist or hygienist which system is right for you.

Dentistry is a very broad area and some services are best provided by specialists outside of our office. We do provide a very broad amount of services in the office but if it is in the patient’s best interest to be referred to a dental specialist, we do have great relationships with local specialists and will help arrange a consultation appointment for you. Often we are asked to book these appointments for patients and are happy to help!

Dr. Solomon have been in partnership for many years. You can see either as per your choice. Some patients are referred to one of the two and if so, that is the dentist you will see. Should you have a preference. just let us know! Note that whichever dentist you see, the other will always be available to see you in case of emergency or other treatment need, should your primary dentist be away or out of the office.
In other words, they’re both here to help!
